TIR Medical

TIR // MEDIC may be a new name, but the experience behind it is anything but new. Built on many years of providing medical support in demanding environments, TIR brings together practical pre-hospital experience, event knowledge and an understanding of what it takes to provide effective medical cover away from the comfort of a conventional treatment room.

Based in Wales, we specialise in event medical cover and Film & TV location medical support, with a particular focus on outdoor, endurance and difficult-access environments. From trail races and ultra-distance events to remote filming locations and production sets, our approach is simple: understand the environment, prepare properly and put the right medical capability where it is actually needed.

TIR means land or ground in Welsh, and that connection to the landscape sits at the heart of the brand. Wales gives us mountains, forests, coastlines, cities, studios and some exceptionally challenging locations. We are comfortable working across all of them. Our equipment and operating approach are designed to be mobile, robust and adaptable, allowing us to support projects where access, terrain, weather or distance can make conventional medical provision more difficult.

We’re deliberately building TIR differently. We don’t want to be another generic event medical company. We believe in professional, proportionate and discreet medical support that becomes part of the event or production rather than getting in its way. Whether we’re supporting competitors through the night on a remote course or working alongside cast and crew on location, the objective remains the same: be prepared, be capable and be there when we’re needed.
